- Art and Drama Teacher on the high school level, plus teaching experience in Primary and
Middle School, Gifted and Talented Visual Art Lead Teacher, Yearbook Journalism Advisor,
Past President of local professional educators association (NEA affiliated), created and
team taught Geometry/Art Course on high school level, created and team taught
interdisciplinary course ( art, math, science, social studies ) in Architecture, listed
and profiled in Who's Who Among America's Teachers
- Visual Arts ( Production, Study, Teaching, All Media )
- I have earned two degrees in Visual Art, I teach art and produce/exhibit art in a broad
range of media, numerous commissioned works for private collections.
- Photography ( Film and Digital )
- Semi-Professional Photographer, 35mm and Digital, have published, sold and exhibited. My
newest interest in photography is Digital Video. I recently purchased a Sony DCR-PC100
digital video camera.

- Developing and maintaining close, caring relationships with friends is one of my most
serious priorities and greatest pleasures.

- they are both cute and facinating to watch, teach and learn from.
- Reading Fiction, History, Sci-Fi, Southern Writers
- I am a voracious reader and often read three or more book a week ( to my financial
detriment ...even paperbacks get expensive at this rate :-) )
- Film, Video and DVD collecting and viewing
- A natural extension of my visual orientation, besides I LIKE GOOD MOVIES
- Music CD collecting and listening
- Wide ranging interests and a growing collection 150+ at present
- Computer Hardware ( building computer systems and trouble shooting )
- I've built a number of systems for personal and school system use. Troubleshooting
hardware/software problems for others is beginning to consume a significant portion of my
time in recent years.
- Home Theater/AV System Equipment
- I've been building a home theater system for several years using mostly SONY upper and
mid-level equipment and Polk Audio speakers/subwoofers. My newest toy is a 200 disk DVD
player/changer to compliment my 200 disk CD player.
- Cooking and Dining
- Long time interest in cooking and recipe collecting. A favorite pasttime is dining in
good restaurants with good friends
- Travel
- Well, at least I dream of it....
- Tools and Gadgets
- My friends call me McGiver and my car the Hurricane mobile because of my omnipresent
collection of tools, gadgets and whatzits. My kitchen suffers from a similar collection.
- Scientific Innovations
- Maybe I'm just a frustrated Rennaisance Man
- Internet ( of course )
- Spending more time here than I should, but you can read books, listen to music and watch
TV while you wait for those slow file D/L's so...
- Hiking/Camping ( Southern US coastal and mountain areas )
- An old interest which I have recently begun to pursue again.
